Graffiti Dialogues -Strand 3: Codes of Practice linked to the Dark Side of Creativity

Graffiti Dialogues aims to gather a small select group to explore opportunities for “Twenty First Century Cities” to better respond to the phenomenon of graffiti in creative, cost effective ways that are “fit for purpose”. There are many tensions and contradictions around graffiti and how it is treated and this 3rd workshop will ask whether or not, and how, graffiti contributes to the regeneration of cities and will further explore how graffiti may be connected to vibrant beautiful cities.

The workshop will be held on Friday 27th May, 11am – 4pm at Bristol’s City Museum and Art Gallery and is aimed at increasing dialogue between practicing artists, local designers, academics, graffiti practitioners and others connected to both formal and informal creative industries.
