Open Gallery is over. After 2 years, 300 delivered authorisations, 250 paintings and 3 public and free venues, we shut down. Why? Public works: city council wants to remove the actual wall enclosing the Parc de les Aigües and replace it for another thats allows to more visual control. Transparent architecture, they call it.

That means that Barcelona is again without any free graphic expression public space.

Delivery of authorisations is cancelled untill a new placement for the project is eventually defined.

On July 4th we celebrated the first anniversary of the Open Gallery (Barcelona). As usual in this kind of occasions, we organized a collective painting session, with the following artists: Limow, Escif, Zosen, Skount, Sakristan, Ripo, Jordae, Marko, Argot, Miquel Wert, Otica, Scare and QS.

Moreover, we had the priceless help of Sam3 to further increase the number of walls available to paint in barcelona. This one is located in the Guinardó district.
