People at Miscelanea will provide good music.

The project started running on july 5th, 2008, with both national and international artists involved. Nowadays is, as far as we know, the only legal spot where to paint in Barcelona.

Difusor attends the fourth edition of this festival, curated and organised by Excusado Printsystem. We left the festival with a good impression: tons of walls, good artwork and better networking in a hard environment.

We made a couple of talks about Barcelona’s street art, before and after the new public space law.

Small creation festival in Gracia’s ateliers (Barcelona).
October 2, 3, 4 and 5, 2008

We had a debate on the political situation that street art is facing nowadays in modern cities such as Barcelona, showcasing some of the projects that we are actually running.

We had, as well, the opportunity to curate a brand new wall provided by people at Projecte Públic. The artist choosen was Ripo.

At Stripart, in a space used as a car park since the 60’s. It’s located between Centre Cívic del Guinardó, a primary school and a kid’s house. We wanted to develop artwork with specific consequences: remove cars from that space.

Way out: abduction
First issue of a project in which we want to focus in one of the most popular ways of facing problems: not facing them.

June 20 we were in a talk on “Negotiation and feedbacks in public space”, in the frame of Projecte Públic. Among us, talked Itziar González, Ciutat Vella Mayor, Domènec, artist, and Lluch Mayol from Saladestar, which runs the project.

Artwork for the RedBull Music Academy set @ Sonar. We were asked to simulate Barcelona’s streets including graffiti in it, and that’s what we made.

We want to thank Dr. Case, Olivia, Omar, Dr. Hoffman, Kenor, Gato, Otica, Maze for their collaboration.

Tristan Manco invited us to attend The Cans Festival: we spent one week in London involved in this event organised by Pictures on Walls.

40 artists from all over the world, including Banksy, Faile, Broken Crow, Logan Hicks, Sten, M-City, Civilian, Vexta, Bandit, Artiste-Ouvrier, Btoy, Alto Contraste, Run Don’t Walk, painted, in secret, the tunnel at Leake St., near Waterloo Station. During the three following days to the Opening, more than 40.000 people visited it.

An unforgettable experience.
